It gives me immense pleasure to write a message for our school website. DES school is a co-ed school & is ranked among the best SSC Board schools in Pune city, Maharashtra. As a new principal, I feel extremely honored to lead this prestigious school run by Deccan Education Society.  

The vast sprawling tree of DES is 39 years old. It has become a full-fledged self-reliant & ever updating co-ed educational institute in the Pune city, popular for quality education.  Our school has always been more than just a place of learning; it is a vibrant & inclusive community.  

We have created an environment that encourages an excellent academic achievement extra-curricular activities, art, music, sports and also to explore the full potential of each student. We at DES strive to provide education that challenges, grooms & explores every aspect of the child’s personality.  

We not only focus on student’s academic development but actively work on their physical, social, emotional & spiritual aspect. Here students learn through play-way method, problem solving, critical thinking & by performing activities. Our school initiates the activities like Eco club & Astro club actively promoting sustainability & conservation of our environment. For this purpose, the school has started  Eco club & Astro club. 

DES staff is professionally equipped to develop & modify curricular content & assessment which suits the needs & aspiration of our students. We firmly believe that parents are the child’s first & most important gurus. They play an important role in their child’s education & character building. DES school happily welcomes all the parents to take active part in their child’s holistic development. Our school’s PTA is very active and conducts various activities for students & teachers as well. We all truly blessed to have such a supportive PTA.
