Curriculum
- Students are prepared for examinations conducted by the State Board.
- The course of studies for V to Class X includes subjects as per classes required subjects like Moral Instruction, Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, General Science etc.
- The medium of instruction is English, while Hindi, Sanskrit, Marathi, or German are offered as second language options.
- Significant emphasis is placed on co-curricular activities and character-building programs.
Language Pattern
- The DES Secondary, School is an English Medium School.
- Three language pattern is followed, imposed by the Government throughout India.
- The medium of instruction is English.
- Marathi being the state language, is a compulsory.
- Students are offered the choice for third language.
Progress and Promotion
- Passing in all subjects is mandatory for promotion.
- Please note that 75% attendance is mandatory for consideration of promotion.
- Promotion will be on the Overall marks attained during the academic year.
- Report cards will not be presented or displayed online till all fees are paid in full.
- Promotions are indicated in the Final report in March and successful students are promoted to their new classes in April each year.
- On Report card Distribution Day, if Parents are unavailable, they may send a representative with a letter authorizing them to collect the Report Card.
