D.E.S. - An institution which fulfills the social, educational & cultural aspirations of the society. Deccan Education Society is a distinguished Institution with a rich heritage spanning 140 years. It was founded in 1884 by a group of visionaries.D.E.S. Secondary is co-educational institutions managed by Deccan Education Society, Pune. This school was founded on 10th June 1985. It is situated in the premises of New English School, Tilak Road, Pune 411030. The school was started to cater to the long-standing demands of the parents who wished that their children should be educated through English, as the medium of instruction. With the changing needs of the community, the aim of the school is to develop the character and the personality of pupils through graded social responsibility and environmental and social awareness.
The legacy of DES extends beyond academics, emphasizing the holistic development of students. The teaching and non-teaching staff of DES works diligently with the firm belief that the development of our nation depends on all-round development of the students which includes physical, mental, intellectual, ethical, spiritual and professional development.
