D.E.S. School celebrated its 41st Foundation Day on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. The occasion was graced by Shri Dhananjay Kulkarni, Finance Controller, D.E.S. School, Secondary School H.M. Vijaya Joshi, Primary School H.M. Archana Dhanawade, Murlidhar Lohia Matrumandir H.M. Madhuri Barve, Vice H.M. Laxmi Malepati, and supervisors Mrs. Radha Ketkar, Mrs. Gracy D'Souza, Mrs. Simran Gujar, and all other faculty members.

The ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp by the auspicious hands of Hon’ble Shri. Dhananjay Kulkarni and other dignitaries paid tribute to our noble founders. Shri. Dhananjay Kulkarni happily interacted with the faculty members, offering valuable guidance and sharing insights. H.M. Vijaya Joshi delivered the welcome address, congratulating teachers on the beginning of another new academic year and inspiring them to excel within many challenges.

The event featured Saraswati Vandana sung by music teacher Mrs. Bhakti Patwardhan, recitation of a self-composed poem by Marathi teacher Shri Raghavendra Ganeshpure, and a Foundation Day song performed by music teacher Mrs. Harshada Karekar.

The occasion was also marked by the release of the Annual School Magazine- ‘Udgam’ of the Primary School, refreshing the memories of a wonderful passing year. Mrs. Kimaya Varkhedkar shed light on the school's rich history, and Mrs. Nancy Gaware offered a vote of thanks. The Foundation Day was successfully organized under the able guidance of H.M. Vijaya Joshi with enthusiastic participation from all the teachers, admin staff, and the support staff.
